Dr Jagadesh Gudaru is a renowned name in Orthopedics in the region. He is know for his expertise, teaching and primarily for the years of service he provided to the poor and gifting them back their ability to walk on their feet. Dr Jagadesh Gudaru served as Director and HOD of Orthopaedics of the prestigious Balaji Institute of Surgery, Research and Rehabilitation for the Disabled (BIRRD), TT Devasthanams, Tirupati. He completed his MBBS from Andhra University, Visakhapatanam and received his MS from Managalore University. He was awarded MCh from Sichillis Unversity. He also has AO Fellowship from St. James University hospital, Leeds, UK and IGO Fellowship from BG Unfallklinik, Ludwigshafen, Germany. His areas of interest include Paediatric Orthopaedics, Trauma management, Total Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Spine surgery and Limb Lengthening procedures. In Paediatric Orthopaedics, I am treating those children suffering with Cerebral Palsy, Congenital anomalies, Poliomyelitis and Metabolic bone diseases. He is well versed in doing Total Hip and Knee Joint replacements and also in performing Arthroscopic procedures and is trained to perform Spine surgeries. He has treated a large number of Limb Length Discrepancy patients by using Ilizarov and AO techniques. He is aslo a recognized teacher for DNB (Ortho) Post Graduates by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi and every year two DNB students are trained under him for their dissertation.
